Description
We grow the chilli from the Erbe di Mauro farm, in the open countryside in the beautiful hills of Fermo, in the Marche region.
The cultivation is 100% natural, without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. A healthy product, fruit of the earth, the sun, water and our work, carried out with professionalism and passion, every day.
Chilli is always picked by hand, without the help of mechanical means that could compromise its integrity. It is then dried in the shade, in a natural way and at low temperatures (not over 45 °) to keep the flavor, aroma and properties intact.
Properties of chilli
Chili contains vitamins (C, PP, B1, B2, A, E, K2), capsicin, capsaicin (which gives it its characteristic spicy flavor), mineral salts and trace elements, essential oils and lecithin.
Thanks to its active ingredients and in particular to capsaicin (which has a strong vasodilating activity), the chili pepper is very useful for stimulating blood circulation, either by consuming it as a spice, or for external use. For this reason it is considered a "friend of the Heart" spice, which is a useful preventive remedy against arteriosclerosis and other cardiovascular disorders.
Chili is also an excellent digestive, as it improves salivary secretion and gastric juices. Moreover, thanks to its antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, it works by preventing intestinal putrefaction.
Chili also has antimicrobial properties against the notorious Helicobacter Pylori. For this reason the consumption of chili can be useful to prevent gastritis due to this pathogenic bacterium. In the same way, however, the chili pepper is contraindicated to those who have already developed this disease, as it increases gastric acidity.
</>Finally it is a powerful antioxidant
For external use, the chili pepper is also used in creams and lotions as an anti-inflammatory for sciatica, lumbago, arthritis, arthrosis and rheumatic pains.
Use in the kitchen
Chilli is perfect for enhancing almost all dishes. It looks good on almost everything! Meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, sauces, sauces, velvety and even in jams and sweet-and-sour sauces.
