Description
Dandelion is a plant spread throughout Europe and grows spontaneously in pastures, woods, fields and home gardens. It is characterized by yellow flowers (from which it takes its name "Dandelion") and green, hairless and serrated leaves.
Dandelion is a plant that we have been cultivating for many years on our land in the Fermano countryside, in Italy. The cultivation is strictly natural, without the aid of pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.
The harvesting of the roots takes place in autumn, the balsamic period in which the content of the active ingredients is maximum. They are then dried at low temperatures (<43°), so as to keep the organoleptic properties of the plant intact.
Finally the roots are shredded and packaged.
Usage tips
Decoction . A teaspoon of dandelion is used on a cup of water (about 250 ml).
The dandelion is immersed in still cold water and heated on the stove until the water reaches boiling point.
Let it boil over low heat for about 10-12 minutes and then turn it off and let it rest for another 3 minutes. Then it is filtered and drunk hot or warm.
Warnings
