Lavandula Vera (Lavanda officinalis) is a genus of aromatic plants belonging to the Lamiaceae family, with the appearance of small annual or perennial herbaceous plants with a typical spike inflorescence.

In addition to being a beautiful ornamental garden plant, Lavender is widely used in the cosmetic industry for the preparation of beauty creams, soaps, bubble baths, essential oils, perfumes and much more.

But that's not all, lavender flowers, both fresh and dried, are also fantastic for the preparation of herbal teas, with sweet and relaxing scented notes.

The flowers are picked by hand and dried at low temperatures, by collecting them in bunches hanging upside down and placed in special ventilated tunnels at a controlled temperature (<43°). This allows us to keep the properties and special aroma of Lavender unaltered.

Usage tips

Infusion : leave a teaspoon of dried lavender to rest for 8-10 minutes in a cup of boiling hot water (about 250 ml), taking care to cover it with a lid or saucer. After that, filter and drink the tea while it's hot.
