Flowers and dried flowering tops of St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum), collected from plants of our cultivation. The cultivation of St. John's Wort is 100% natural and is done on our land in Fermo (Italy). Drying takes place at low temperatures.
St. John's wort is a plant native to Europe, North Africa and Western Asia, now widespread in most of the world, so much so that it can be defined as ubiquitous.
Hypericum is also known as the "San Giovanni plant", while in the past it was also known as the "Erba chasing devils". This is because it was said to have the magical power to free places and people from evil thoughts, real demons to be chased away: hung outside the door, on the roof of the house, or directly on the skin.
There are numerous varieties of hypericum, we grow the most common and used one here in Italy, which is Hypericum perforatum. The flowers are collected from this plant. As tradition dictates, the collection of hypericum flowers takes place in June and in particular during the day of San Giovanni, or on June 24th, when the plant expresses its maximum power and concentration in active ingredients.
The cultivation of Hypericum, as well as for all our plants, is 100% natural. This means the total absence of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers, in total respect for the health of the environment and of those who use our herbs and herbal teas.
The flowering tops of hypericum are harvested by hand and drying, in order to keep the organoleptic properties of the plant unaltered, takes place at low temperatures (<43°).
Infusion . It is prepared by leaving a teaspoon of hypericum flowers to rest for 10 minutes in a cup of boiling water.
After which it is filtered and drunk.
Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
Ho acquistato la tisana per integrarla ad un programma di disintossicazione del corpo dato che soffro di psoriasi. Ho apprezzato l'imballaggio: è quasi gustosa la scatolina! Sono contenta d'aver trovato un'azienda così seria che dà quel tocco che mi giustifica la scritta dietro "fatto con amore". Ben conservata la tisana e molto rilassante. Seguo le indicazioni e mi lascio guidare dal suo profumo che ricorda un campo estivo appena tagliato....
