Prostate problems
Prostate problems are common in men, especially as they age, and can cause a variety of uncomfortable symptoms. The most notable conditions include benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostatitis, and prostate cancer.
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate): benign prostatic hyperplasia, also known as prostatic adenoma, is an abnormal, noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. This condition causes urinary problems, such as difficulty starting or stopping the flow of urine, frequent urges to urinate, urine leakage, or sexual dysfunction.
- Prostatitis: Prostatitis is an acute or chronic inflammation of the prostate, often caused by a bacterial infection, and can cause pelvic and/or muscle pain, fever, and urinary problems.
Epilobium and Nettle are two medicinal herbs that can improve the function of the prostate and male urinary tract. Regular consumption of these herbs, taken in the form of an infusion, promotes the well-being of the prostate gland, helping to combat urinary tract disorders in men. The preparation is very simple, just add 1 teaspoon of nettle and 1 teaspoon of willowherb, in half a liter of hot water, leave to infuse for about 10 minutes and then filter. You can drink it throughout the day. Once ready, you can put it in a thermos or a water bottle, so you can easily take it with you to work.
